01The kitchen
A small room, an open kitchen, and a menu that changes with the month.
Miggs is Chef Miguel Rosado’s kitchen. He cooks where you can see him — Gulf shrimp braised in lobster stock, saffron risotto heavy with shellfish, scallops seared to a deep gold — and sends out plates our guests keep calling art. It feels like fine dining, without any of the stiffness.

03The experience
The Miggs experience
-
An open kitchen
There’s no wall between you and the stove. Chef Miguel cooks every night, and you can watch each plate come together.
-
A menu that moves
We print a new menu most months, built around what’s best right now — Florida seafood, seasonal produce, and a few favorites we’d never take off.
-
A room made for conversation
A small, warmly lit dining room where you can actually hear each other. Wine and sangria by the glass, and a team that treats you like a regular.

Soft-shell crab with sweet corn purée — one of Chef Miguel’s seasonal specials.

05Wine & sangria
Crafted pours
No spirits here — just smoked sangrias, wine-based margaritas from spicy watermelon to passionfruit, a wine list that runs from Rioja to the Willamette Valley, and zero-proof refreshers made as seriously as everything else.
- Seasonal Sangria

06Our story
Culinary art, comfort food
Chef Miguel Rosado opened Miggs in early 2022 in an unassuming storefront on Main Street. In its roundup of the best new restaurants of 2022, the Tampa Bay Times named Miggs its Best New Suburban Restaurant.
The idea hasn’t changed: cook generous, beautiful food from scratch, change the menu often enough to keep things interesting, and make everyone who walks in feel like they found somewhere special.
